Creative Ways to Use Door Hangers

Alright, mamas. The amount of small baby shit I have around my house is unbelievable. Here are three ways I have used door hangers to try and alleviate the chaos.

  1. Medical Supplies: Our son has a bleeding disorder, and he has a lot of medical supplies. Being able to find whichever supply I need quickly is really important. I also put just general medical supplies, like thermometers and pain relievers. Things that if I threw in a basket, I would forget that I had or where I put it.

  2. Kids Toys: My girls love playing with small little “friends” in their upstairs toy house. We have dozens of little figurine creatures or princesses and the corresponding furniture pieces. Most nights, these items are strategically placed all over the floor perfectly so that their dad or I can step on one at the end of the evening just in time to lose our shit completely. I will not say that these door hangers have solved this problem, but they have helped.

  3. Breakfast and Lunch Kits: All the water bottles, lunch boxes, and coffee mugs were shoved into cabinets, hoping they would disappear. They are somewhat attractively hanging off the back of our pantry door. It is better.
